Planning an event in Joshua Tree? You're in good hands out here. The desert makes a stunning backdrop for everything from milestone birthdays to bachelorette parties and intimate weddings — and I love photographing it all. My approach is relaxed but intentional, always aiming to capture your event in a way that feels true to how it actually felt. Whether you're keeping it simple or going all-out with rentals and florals, I’ve got you covered behind the lens so you can stay present and enjoy the party.

Let’s talk DJs — Bass and Bliss (@bassandbliss) are my absolute go-to. They’re the kind of DJs who read the room, play excellent music, and keep the vibe flowing without taking over the whole event. No shouting into the mic, no corny hype routines — just smooth, pro energy and perfect playlists. If you’re looking for someone who can guide the tone without making it about them, they’re it.

Now let’s talk food (because obviously). I still think about the loaded carnitas fries from The Lime Truck — totally worth it. Their fresh Mexican menu is packed with flavor, from crispy quesadillas to vibrant salads and tacos that disappear in minutes. And for dessert? Over the Rainbow Desserts in Palm Springs will always have my heart. They made my wedding cake, and I’ll suggest them every chance I get — beautiful, delicious, and creative every time.
Need rentals or details to bring the vibe to life? Nomadic Notions is a favorite for curated, desert-friendly pieces that elevate the whole space. And if you're into unique handmade details, the local maker scene is unbeatable — you’ll find everything from custom macramé to desert-inspired decor at the Joshua Tree Farmers Market or Pioneertown Makers Market. For florals, I love working with Cactus Flower and Farms — not only is the owner a total pro (and also drives a 4Runner, respect), but the floral work is stunning and grounded in the desert landscape.
Whether you’re planning a laid-back celebration or a more styled event, having a team that knows the desert and knows how to keep things real makes a big difference. If you're thinking of throwing something special out here — let's talk. I’ll bring the camera and good energy; you bring your people.
