ENGAGEMENTS

Surprise proposal in Joshua Tree National Park photographed by a Joshua Tree engagement photographer, surrounded by desert boulders and Joshua trees.

Surprise Engagement Photographer in Southern California

Surprise engagements are one of my favorite things to photograph, and as your surprise engagement photographer, I’ll help you plan the details so your partner never sees it coming. I usually pose as a very committed birdwatcher in my green camping chair, send you my exact coordinates, and when you arrive, you simply ask the random woman nearby to take a photo with your phone—I’ll position you, take the cell phone photo, slip your phone into my pocket, and have my real camera ready when you propose.

I photograph and help plan surprise proposals and engagement sessions throughout Joshua Tree, Palm Springs, Idyllwild and the Southern California mountains, Laguna Beach, and the Southern California coast. Whether you're looking for a Joshua Tree engagement photographer, planning a surprise forest engagement in the mountains, or dreaming of a beach proposal, we'll make it feel natural, private, and completely believable.
